The Wesleyan Covenant Association connects Spirit-filled, orthodox churches of Wesleyan theology and their members.

We believe change is coming and as we live into what comes next, the Wesleyan Covenant Association will connect, encourage, and resource clergy, laity, congregations, regional chapters, and bishops by:

  • Committing to the authority of Scripture and the Lordship of Jesus Christ.

  • Creating a unified response to the Bishops’ Commission’s recommendation while maintaining orthodox Methodist beliefs.

  • Developing a plan for a positive and faithful future.

The Institute on Religion and Democracy is a faith-based alliance of Christians who monitor, comment and report on issues affecting the Church. We seek to reform the Church's role in public life, protect religious freedom, and support democracy at home and abroad.

The I.R.D.

Confessing faith in Jesus Christ as Son, Savior, and Lord, The Confessing Movement exists to help retrieve and celebrate the Church’s classic biblical and doctrinal identity and to live it out together as followers of Jesus Christ.

This task is critically important in our relativistic age, which insists that every individual come to her or his own personal truth, morality, and understanding of righteousness. Within the United Methodist Church, this situation has often led to the promotion of political ideologies and personal agendas overlaid with religious veneers, positions frequently in opposition to the historic biblical and doctrinal teachings of the faith.

Seedbed was founded on January 6, 2012, Seedbed is a twenty-first century movement and media platform whose mission is to gather, connect, and resource the people of God to sow for a great awakening.

The New Room Movement began as a small group of people who wanted to dig the well deeper into the best wisdom of the church across the ages for the sake of discipleship and mission. The next move, by popular request, was a series of collectives built around discerning wisdom for particular areas of mission and ministry. By demand, the next expression of the New Room was an annual conference, now in its third year. Today, we sense that the Holy Spirit is forming something of a network among us, banding us together to pray for a great awakening, and forming relationships to help us become the kinds of disciples we aspire to make.

Lifewatch is the quarterly newsletter of the Taskforce of United Methodists on Abortion and Sexuality. We are dedicated to creating, in church and society, an esteem for human life at its most vulnerable, specifically for the unborn child and for the woman who contemplates abortion. Begun in 1987, Lifewatch is an unofficial voice of UMC laity and leadership encouraging United Methodists to live the Gospel of life to build a culture of life in the U.S.A. and the world.

Life Watch

We are a network of women and women’s groups in the United Methodist Church that are faithfully seeking to grow in the knowledge of Jesus as we seek and serve Him.
